Overview

Step Up and Sell is a coaching programme that has been designed for senior sales consultants, team leaders and supervisors. This programme helps learners recognise personal power selling assets, their own ability to programme positive attitude, and how to identify the blockers to motivation. Using SMART as a tool, the programme demonstrates the effectiveness of goal planning to increase sales and achieve success.

Course Format

This course is delivered as blended learning, combining workshops and online tools.

The training provides opportunity for participants to discuss and demonstrate the power of selling assets, motivational behaviour and SMART goal setting through group activity and discussion.

There will be the opportunity over the training to allow participants to experience “real” situations and scenarios to transfer the theory of the course into practice. There are evaluations at the end of each module and again at the end of the programme.

This course uses interactive support tools for SMART goal setting. Participants can access these tools through the AncoraHub during and after workshops, for ongoing post-training support.

Course Content

  • Module 1 – Powerful Sales Assets

    Through this module, participants will examine the power of having the right sales assets to be a collaborator and facilitator. They will also discover how to build better partnerships with customers.

    Learning outcomes:

    • Identify personal power assets
    • Create an action plan to develop those skills to become more successful
  • Module 2 – Positive Programming

    Participants will learn to recognise the blockers that prevent them from driving sales opportunities, explore how to increase motivation to overcome negative situations, and consider how continuous self-coaching and a positive attitude can help them stay motivated.

  • Module 3 – Being SMART About Your Goals

    In this module, participants will examine the benefits of SMART planned goal setting and discover why it is essential to sales performance.

    • Demonstrate how to set SMART goals
    • Recognise the effectiveness of using SMART goals to convert sales calls to leads and increase sales
